Holy Week Message
from the Rev. Canon Tanya Vonnegut Beck

Dear Friends,

Holy Week is upon us.  On Maundy Thursday, the service begins at 7:00 p.m., with the all night vigil to follow.  There will be added security throughout the night. In the service, we review the most vulnerable, agonizingly poignant moments of Jesus’ life so far.  The service embodies all he sought to teach.  Come, be present and reflect on those moments in your lives when, like Jesus, you become vulnerable to the world.

On Good Friday, The Reverend Norman Morford will address those long three hours beginning at 12:00 noon.

Holy Saturday is the day of preparation.  The service held for the workers doing the faithful work will be at 10:00 a.m.

On Easter Sunday at 10:30 a.m., with God’s grace we celebrate the Resurrection and a glorious Baptism!  A luncheon will follow the service and lots of joy is available!

It has been a long cold Lent.  Being a part of these Holy Week days will bring us to the time of peace and fulfillment at the moment of Hope—the Resurrection!!

The Reverend Conon Tanya V. Beck
